Finnair Cargo has officially appointed HAE Group as its General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) in Ireland, marking a strategic move to enhance its presence in the Irish air freight market.
The partnership will see HAE Group represent Finnair Cargo locally, leveraging its strong market expertise and customer-focused approach to deliver efficient and reliable cargo solutions across Ireland. The collaboration is expected to strengthen customer engagement while expanding access to Finnair’s global network.
Finnair Cargo operates daily narrowbody services from Dublin, utilising its containerised Airbus A320 fleet. These aircraft provide significant cargo capacity, capable of handling shipments of up to 1,100 kilograms per piece. This makes the service particularly well-suited for high-value and sensitive goods, including pharmaceuticals and perishables such as fresh fish.
In addition to direct capacity from Dublin, the carrier offers seamless trucking connections via London Heathrow Airport. This enables Irish customers to access Finnair Cargo’s extensive long-haul widebody network, ensuring global connectivity to key international destinations.
The appointment reflects Finnair Cargo’s continued focus on strengthening regional partnerships and enhancing its service offering across Europe. By working closely with HAE Group, the airline aims to build a strong, long-term presence in Ireland while delivering improved logistics solutions to its growing customer base.
