Group Concorde has announced a new partnership with Avianca Cargo to represent the airline\u2019s commercial interests across five international markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the agreement, Group Concorde will act as Avianca Cargo\u2019s representative in the United Arab Emirates, Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia and the Philippines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The move forms part of Group Concorde\u2019s wider strategy to expand its global cargo network and strengthen trade connectivity between Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Group Concorde said it would serve as the main commercial contact for freight forwarders, shippers and logistics companies in the five territories, providing access to Avianca Cargo\u2019s air freight network across North, Central and South America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Avianca Cargo currently operates to more than 70 destinations throughout the Americas, supported by over 220 weekly freighter flights and more than 1,600 weekly passenger services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The airline\u2019s network is seen as an important gateway for businesses in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific seeking regular cargo connections into Latin America and other regional markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The partnership is expected to strengthen cargo flows between emerging trade corridors, particularly as demand for ecommerce, perishables and time-sensitive freight continues to grow globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ralph van Eijk, chief airline and marketing officer at Group Concorde, said the agreement reflected the company\u2019s ambitions to expand its international cargo footprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said: \u201cThis collaboration reflects the confidence placed in Group Concorde\u2019s global capabilities, commercial strength and commitment to delivering value-driven cargo solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company added that the partnership would help customers in the newly represented markets gain improved commercial support and easier access to Avianca Cargo\u2019s network capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
